Kelliher & Beyer, LLP is a client-focused law firm serving Barnstable, Bristol, and Plymouth Counties. Attorneys Dawn M. Kelliher and Megan E. Beyer joined forces to represent individuals living in the South Shore area. Dawn and Megan met in 2014, when they attended law school together — both maintain a commitment to public interest and a passion for serving their local community.

Six family law courts serve the South Shore area, and while the law is the same throughout the Commonwealth, each court conducts its proceedings in a slightly different manner. It is critical to have a firm that is familiar with the court in which you will appear. Dawn M. Kelliher, Esq.
Partner

Dawn was born in Boston and now resides in Dighton. A graduate of Bridgewater State University, she earned her Juris Doctor Cum Laude from UMass School of Law, where she was a Dean's Fellow and Executive Notes & Content Editor of the school's Law Review. Before law, Dawn taught in two South Shore public schools. She was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 2017.

Dawn serves on a local nonprofit board and volunteers as a mock trial coach for Durfee High School and The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Bristol County Bar Association.

Focus: Family law, estate planning (wills & trusts), contracts, business organizations, probate, and guardianships.

Megan was born and raised in the South Shore area and now resides in Raynham. A graduate of Smith College and UMass School of Law, she was an Associate Editor of the school's Law Review, a Public Interest Law Fellow, and president of the Legal Association of Women. She was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 2016.

Megan worked in Land Court, served as a Senior Case Administrator for the Pro Se Division at the American Arbitration Association, and was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Massachusetts Probate & Family Court across the Barnstable, Bristol, Middlesex, and Plymouth Divisions.

Focus: Family law, custody matters, contested & uncontested divorce, guardianships, contempt, and modifications.
